Day Two
After a day of travel, you’ll want to enjoy a lie-in on your first morning in Kilkenny. If the weather is fine, head out to the outskirts of the city to a charming country town called Castlecomer where you can enjoy an afternoon in the impressive 80-acre Discovery Park. There you can explore your wild side, enjoying activities such as ziplining, tree-top walking, climbing walls, Octagon, boating, archery, walking and hiking trails and so much more. It’s an ideal day out for couples, groups of friends, hens & stags and families of all ages. On your way back to the city, stop off The National Reptile Zoo for a fascinating look at some of the world’s most exotic snakes, lizards and much more.
If you find yourself in Kilkenny on a rainy evening, head to the local Cinema, about 10 minutes walk from Pembroke Hotel. IMC Kilkenny is a multiscreen cinema showing the best in blockbuster movies from cartoons and kids to superheroes and drama.
Kilkenny is packed with restaurants serving excellent food from local cuisine to more exotic fare. Luckily when you leave one of the many restaurants in the city after a great feed, you won’t have to travel far back home as Pembroke Hotel is in the middle of the action. Make sure to stop into Statham’s Bar for a nightcap before you retire for the evening.
Day Three
Rise and shine early on day 3, enjoying a delicious breakfast in Pembroke Hotel. Don’t worry, we have a huge selection of breakfast combinations so you won’t be bored!

Day Four
