Market Menu and Farm-to-Fork FoodWe are passionate about using local, high-quality suppliers. At Statham’s, we offer breakfast & brunch, lunch, dinner, and group dining all expertly curated. Each ingredient we use in our new menus have been tried and tested by our Executive Chef Ken, and the talented kitchen team. Enjoy prime local food with sharing plates, delicious desserts, coffee & cocktails throughout the day and into the evening. When you choose to enjoy local, seasonal food and drink, it means more sustainable methods are used to grow and transport the produce. Where possible, we choose the highest quality, most delicious food that has the least distance to travel. Not only does supporting local producers keep local people in employment and give back to the Kilkenny community, it’s also better for the environment.
The Statham’s team are proud to present a new ‘Market Menu’, designed to showcase the very best of the season’s ingredients, driven by local & Irish produce. The menu includes the freshest seasonal produce, grown, picked and delivered by suppliers such as Riversfield Farm, Dizzy Goat Farm, Ballykeefe Distillery & Ging Family Farm amongst many more. We are proud to offer a farm to fork promise; you can trace every mouthful back to the farm it was grown.
Statham’s Evening MenuAs well as our fabulous new Market Menu, we have upgraded our evening menu to include small plates, large plates and some excellent sides. Try our house focaccia as a starter, drizzled with delicious high-quality olive oil and served with a fantastic balsamic dipping sauce. The Ham & Cheddar Arancini are also very tasty! For your main course, our braised lamb ragout is always a winner, served with fresh homemade pasta, peas, feta & parmesan cheese. If you love a steak dinner, it doesn’t get any better, or more local, than a Ging Family Farm Steak cooked to your liking. The Ging Family Farm is located at Ballykeefe Distillery (a zero-waste farm & distillery), only 10 minutes away from us. Pair your dinner with a delicious side like crispy hash browns & truffle mayo or some roast carrots with honey & thyme butter. Finish with sticky toffee pudding, salted caramel sauce & vanilla ice cream. We promise it will be a meal to remember.
My Favourite Drink is the Next OneAs well as our fantastic new menus, we also have a fully stocked bar, perfect for wine pairings or a cocktail evening with friends. We specialise in organic wines, helping to keep the clarity and freshness of the grape in each mouthful. We have a selection of red & white wine with some rosé and prosecco for balance. Our cocktail menu is the star of the show. Expertly prepared by our bar staff, we add a touch of Statham’s magic into each of our bespoke drinks. Try a Ford Special Old Fashioned after your meal as a delicious aperitif.
The Dining ExperienceAt Statham’s, we are passionate not just about our food, but the entire dining experience. Guests can dine in our stylish, well laid out restaurant space, knowing that every effort is being made to keep you safe and comfortable. We recently made refurbishments and improvements to the entire property which included the addition of a clean air ventilation system in our restaurant. The unit increases the fresh air flow by bringing in a very high level of fresh air from outside while removing stale air from inside, ensuring a comfortable ventilated space. You can choose to dine in our cosy, well-ventilated space or if the weather is nice, in the heated outdoor courtyard. All of our menus are also available for take away.
